Steve Silcott

Steve Silcott is the Senior Director of Construction, responsible for managing all aspects of MLS’ construction business. Steve oversees preconstruction pricing and planning, coordinates and manages design consultants, and is involved in purchasing and subcontracting on site trade partners. Additionally, Steve manages all on site construction activities for each project. Prior to joining Greystar in 2022, Steve had over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, building office, industrial, and multifamily residential buildings in all capacities in the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia markets. He has been in the multifamily market sector for nearly 25 years, serving as a lead team member for two of the DC area’s largest General Contracting firms. During this time, Steve managed the construction of apartment and condominium buildings ranging from garden, podium and wrap style construction to urban high-rise projects.
