Mike Shick

Mike Shick is the Factory Operations Manager, overseeing all production management operations for the factory to harbor a safe, efficient, employee-centric workforce. Mike oversaw the design and renovation of our flagship factory in Knox, PA. Throughout the design and renovation of our 160,000 sq. ft. factory, Mike provided subject matter expertise on manufacturing processes and workflows to ensure a safe, efficient operation. He also led the on-site coordination and execution of MLS’ first ever prototype modular apartment. Mike’s vast modular experience and leadership skills make him a vital part of Modern Living Solutions. Prior to joining Modern Living Solutions in 2020, Mike spent 34 years in the modular industry, of which 29 were in leadership roles. He began his career on the production floor at a single family-home modular manufacturer. By learning the trades, Mike began to grow within the modular industry and advanced into production and plant management. In these roles, he was responsible for the full scope of operations within the factory including but not limited to maintenance, scheduling, employee relations, budgeting, transportation, and engineering.
