Alex Hermance

Alex Hermance is the Director of Development, focused on identifying development opportunities, underwriting potential sites, and executing on the development program for selected sites. Prior to joining Greystar in 2022, Alex worked for over four years at ASB Real Estate Investments for the Capital Investments Group. Here, Alex was responsible for acquisition, asset management, and disposition activities for ASB’s three separate funds. Alex completed over $850 million worth of acquisition and disposition transactions at ASB, focused on industrial and work-force housing acquisitions while actively disposing of legacy office and retail assets. Alex graduated from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management, and a Master’s in Business Administration. Before pursuing his MBA, Alex worked for M&T Bank for five years in corporate finance, SBA lending, and middle market lending.
